Nell'ultimo Gran Premio di Abu Dhabi della stagione di Formula 1, l'olandese Max Verstappen, campione del mondo della Red Bull, ha ottenuto il record di 19° vittoria in un anno. Il 54° trionfo in carriera lo ha proiettato al terzo posto nella classifica storica davanti al tedesco Sebastian Vettel. Verstappen ha preceduto il ferrarista Charles Leclerc di oltre 17 secondi a Yas Marina. Il terzo posto è andato a George Russell della Mercedes.
