Kimi Antonelli won the Miami Grand Prix and took his third victory in a row. He finished ahead of Lando Norris in second place, while Oscar Piastri was third.
The race started with a lot of action. Antonelli had a better start than in Japan, but Charles Leclerc took the lead after Turn 1. The field was very tight, and Max Verstappen spun, dropping down the order, but he continued. There were more small incidents on the first lap. Lewis Hamilton and Franco Colapinto touched, while Verstappen began to recover positions.
At the front, Leclerc led Antonelli and Norris. George Russell passed Piastri for fourth place. On lap 4, Antonelli briefly took the lead from Leclerc, but the order kept changing. Soon after, Isack Hadjar crashed and retired. Then Liam Lawson hit Pierre Gasly, whose car flipped into the wall. Gasly was okay, but the crash brought out the Safety Car.
During the Safety Car, there were warnings about possible rain. Verstappen dropped to 16th after an early pit stop, while Colapinto was running well in seventh.
The race restarted on lap 12. Leclerc led Norris and Antonelli. Piastri made a strong move to pass Russell and take fourth.
Norris then took the lead with a move at Turn 11. Antonelli and Leclerc continued fighting behind him. Verstappen was also recovering quickly and moved back into the top 10.
Pit stops became important. Russell pitted early and gained a position on Leclerc. The rain did not arrive, and drivers stayed on slick tyres. Later, Antonelli and Norris fought for the lead after their stops. Antonelli lost position for a moment but took it back once his tyres worked better.
In the final laps, Antonelli had some problems with tyres and gearbox, but he stayed in front. Behind him, the fight for the podium was very close. On the last lap, Piastri passed Leclerc for third place. Leclerc then spun after contact and lost positions.
Antonelli won the race, Norris was second, and Piastri finished third. Russell ended fourth, Verstappen was fifth after a strong recovery, and Leclerc finished sixth. Hamilton was seventh, Colapinto eighth, and Williams drivers Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon were ninth and tenth.
